Project Description
With more research being published Open Access and an increase in Open Education Resources being created, the library is curious to know how much Open Access material is being used in teaching at King's. To determine this, the Library Champions will conduct an audit of a sample of reading lists.
A list of reading lists is provided below. Feel free to select any reading list from the relevant subject area and fill out the attached Excel template. Please fill out one Excel spreadsheet per reading list. Once you have completed auditing a reading list, email it to Charlie Worthington charlie.worthington@kcl.ac.uk
For the next stage of the task we would like you to curate lists of OERs in specific subject areas. We plan to take your suggestions and include them in our Inclusive Reading List Toolkit.
To understand more about OER, it's worth watching our video on the benefits of using and creating them. This is linked below.
There are some links to sources of OER below. They're a good place to start, but please feel free to use other sources you find during your search.
You have until Friday 24th May to complete this work, and 2 hours to spend on searching. Once you've completed your search, please send your list through to charlie.worthington@kcl.ac.uk
