KLaSS Learning Offering: Start of studies activities

Recommended options

Libraries & Collections are currently discussing the start of session activities that we will be able to offer for 2021/22.

All new students will have access to the Getting Started With the Library welcome resources on our KLaSS Library Guide, as well as a  range of self-directed materials on our KLaSS area on KEATS. We recommend you set aside some time in your students' first few weeks to complete it. Embedding this material into your students' KEATS module space is an option and can be requested using the form on this page.

It's likely that we will also provide live online 15 minute Libraries & Collections Overview that can also be booked using the form on this page. These could form part of a larger day of live welcome events and would be delivered via King's preferred delivery method (an MS Teams Meeting). We also plan to have a recorded version hosted on Kaltura.

It's unlikely that we will be able to offer physical tours around our libraries.

We're working closely with other teams across King's to understand the support they will be able to offer to students around using KEATS or attending MS Teams Meetings.
