Health Information Week 2025 - 20th-26th January

Health Information Week is a national, multi-sectoral campaign promoting high quality health information. Taking place from 20th - 26th January,  this year's event will focus on the 5 following themes: winter wellness, mental health, wellbeing, health literacy and misinformation and digital literacy.

Health Literacy Awareness Online Workshop For King’s College Hospital  Trust Staff

Thursday 23rd January

12pm-1pm

Health literacy empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health, leading to better treatment outcomes and reduced health disparities.

 

Sign up to this online health literacy workshops to find out:

    • what health literacy is and why it matters

    • the impact of poor health literacy on patients and the link to health inequalities

    • tools and techniques that can support patients with low health literacy

This 1-hour session is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH)
